Per Kirkeby, Museo Tamayo, 13 Jul – 15 Oct 2023

The gallery was delighted to participate in the opening of Per Kirkeby. Evocation of Posterity, at Museo Tamayo in Mexico City. The solo exhibition of brick sculptures, architectural drawings, and paintings brings together the works across mediums, and testifies to the diversity of Kirkeby’s oeuvre while showing that his work was not concerned with a particular mode of expression but rather with human feeling, sedimentation and stratification, and with the dialogue between nature and abstraction, form and structure, landscape and architecture. The exhibition is curated by Andrés Valtierra and is on view until the 15 October 2023.
