Biography & CV
Fredrik Tydén (b. 1985, Copenhagen, Denmark) lives and works in Vordingborg, Copenhagen. He received his MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, Denmark in 2015. Tydén was awarded The Remmen Foundation Art Prize in 2017, and in 2020 he received Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen’s talent prize. He is represented in the public collection of Statens Kunstfond. Site specific works include Skovsnogen Artspace, Kibæk, Denmark (2015); Palsgaard Gods, Julesminde, Denmark (2016); Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Herlev Hospital, Denmark (2021) and Forum Park, Aarhus Universitetshospital, Denmark (coming).
