Biography & CV
Fredrik Tydén (b. 1985, Copenhagen, Denmark) lives and works in Vordingborg, Denmark. Tydén received his MFA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2015 and he also studied at the école de recherche graphique – école supérieure des arts in Brussels, Belgium (2013-14). He was awarded Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen’s Grant’s Talent Prize in 2020 and The Remmen Foundation Art Prize in 2017.
Site specific works include Antvorskov Kaserne, Slagelse, Denmark (forthcoming); Forum Park, Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark (2022), Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, Herlev Hospital, Herlev, Denmark (2021) and Skovsnogen Artspace, Kibæk, Denmark (2015).
The artist is represented in the public collection of the Danish Arts Foundation in Denmark.
