Biography & CV
Fatima Moallim (born in Moscow, RU in 1992, based in Malmö, SE) is a self-taught visual artist working with performance and drawing.
She gained recognition with her 2018 performance ‘Flyktinglandet ’in Stockholm, exhibited at Marabouparken Konsthall and later at Moderna Museet. In 2025 she exhibited a series of site-specific works at Lunds konsthall during the “3 summers” exhibition, created in dialogue with the site’s activities and other artists ’works prior to the opening.
In 2022, she participated in the ISCP (International Studio and Curatorial Program) in New York. Her works are part of several public collections, including Moderna Museet, Göteborg Konstmuseum, the British Museum, Magasin III, the Ståhl Collection, Statens Konstråd, and Stockholm Stad. Alongside this exhibition, her works are featured in the British Museum’s collection exhibit Nordic Noir, which also includes a performance during the exhibition period.
